NCUA urges consumers to never verify or release personal financial information to unknown callers. NCUA neither seeks personal information from consumers over the telephone nor handles day-to-day maintenance of member account information. Please IGNORE text messages, e-mails, website links, & verify websites before entering your information on any website. Anyone contacted by this so-called “vishing” scheme should immediately contact NCUA’s Consumer Assistance Center Hotline at 800-755-1030 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to report the scam or Contact BFCU immediately at 830 774-2328 if you feel your account may be compromised.

Effective January 1, 2011 Border Federal Credit Union will no longer mail Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) notices to our members. You may refer to any of the following services to retrieve account transaction information: Online Banking (BFCULive at www.borderfcu.com), CALL 24, month-end account statement, account balance inquiry at any BFCU ATM location, or by calling BFCU (inquiry fee applies).
