Board of Director Nominees

David Even 

Mr. Even served as Field Operations Supervisor and Special Operations Supervisor for the US Border Patrol. During his 32 years of employment with the USBP, he held the position of Critical Incident Investigation Team and CORE Construction Team. Mr. Even studied at the State University of New York, majoring in criminal justice, and at St. Thomas University in Houston, where he majored in Theological studies. Mr. Even was appointed as a Supervisory Committee member in 2020 and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Committee. 

Otila Gonzalez

Ms. Gonzalez served as Chairwoman of the Supervisory Committee before resigning in 2008. She was re-appointed by the Board of Directors in 2022 and currently holds the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Supervisory Committee. Ms. Gonzalez has her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and a Master of Education from the University of Arizona. She has retired from serving as a school administrator for 29 years. She is active in various community committees and boards such as the Middle Rio Grande Development Council, Rotary, and Rotary Housing Board. Through the years, Ms. Gonzalez has served as a Border FCU volunteer for over ten years.
