Doors Open: 5:00 PM
Business Meeting: 5:30 PM
Dinner & Tickets Dinner tickets are available for just $2.00! Please visit any Border FCU location to purchase yours in advance.
Note: A dinner ticket is required to be accommodated for the meal.

Board of Directors - Nominees
There are three vacancies on the Board of Directors, each for a 3-year term, to be filled at the 72nd Annual Meeting. The Nominating Committee has nominated the following candidates to fill these vacancies:
Maria B. Gutierrez
Maria B. Gutierrez has been a Border FCU volunteer for over six years. She was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2019 and elected to the Board of Directors in 2020, where she has provided exceptional leadership as Chairwoman of the Board for the past several years. Mrs. Gutierrez currently serves as the Member-at-Large on the City of Del Rio City Council. After retiring from the Texas Department of Transportation in 2008 under the “Rule of 80,” she became a dedicated community activist, serving on numerous committees and boards in a volunteer capacity. She previously served as the District Representative for Congressman Will Hurd (TX–23).
Jose A. Aranda Jr.
Jose A. Aranda Jr. (Border FCU Volunteer for over 6 years) - former Mayor of Eagle Pass, TX, graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from Sul Ross University. Mr. Aranda also held the title of County Judge for Maverick County which resulted in him having extensive knowledge regarding business administration, project management, and policy implementation. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2019 and held the title of Chairman. In 2020, he was elected to serve on the Board of Directors and is currently Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Alejandro Garcia
Alejandro Garcia (Border FCU Volunteer for over 23 years) - studied at Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas, and received his Bachelor's in Engineering. He is a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Garcia retired as Public Works Director for the City of Del Rio, TX, in 2019. Alejandro Garcia was elected to Border Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors in 2002 as Member-at-Large. Since then, Mr. Garcia has held multiple titles and is currently a Member-at-Large of the Board of Directors.
